NVR Operation – Setup Wizard

Setup Wizard

The first time you power on your NVR you’ll see the Setup Wizard. The Setup Wizard is used to configure several settings for your NVR including basic network settings, and date and time information.

The first time you start the NVR, you’ll see the Login menu. Select “OK” to continue.

The NVR’s default username is admin and there is no default password. If you’d like to do so, you may set a password in the NVR’s User Menu.

The first menu on the setup wizard will display the different QR codes you’re able to scan with your phone.

The Android Client link can be scanned to download the Android version of Eseenet

The IOS Client Link can be scanned to download the IOS version of Eseenet

The Cloud ID is your unique QR code. It will be used by Eseenet to link your Eseenet account with your Zosi NVR.

If you’d like the Setup Wizard to appear whenever the NVR is powered on, enable the “Enable Boot Wizard” setting.

Select “Next” to continue.

The second menu in the Setup Wizard will allow you to configure basic date, time and language settings.

Select your Time Zone from the drop-down menu, followed by inputting the accurate Date and Time in the corresponding fields. Select “Apply” to confirm your selection and update the NVR’s displayed time.

If you’d like to sync the time with a local internet server, enable the “Sync Time” option. The server can be further determined in the General Setup > Time Setup menu.

Select your Date Format from the available options, and confirm your Language from the drop down menu.

It’s recommended that you leave the KeyPad Type as Type 1, and that the Remote ID is left unchanged.

Once you’re finished, select “Next”.

The third menu in the Setup Wizard will allow you to quickly connect your NVR to your local network.

If your NVR is connected to a modem or router via Ethernet cable, then the NVR will automatically find the connection, and display a “Healthy Network” message.

This is the recommended way to connect the DVR to the Internet.

This menu also displays your NVR’s unique Cloud ID, which is used to link your DVR to your unique EseeNet account. Your unique Cloud ID can also be found in the NVR’s Network Setup menu.

Once you’re finished, select “Next”.
